 About the organisation;
FirstView is a sidebar event of the Amateur
Photographer magazine online forum. On the first day of each
month members present an image taken on the day. This is not
a competition, to quote the site;
"The 'Polaroid' motif
is a deliberate one. It typifies the ethos of FirstView, in that
the images are 'as taken', not tampered with, not edited, post-processed,
sweated over, framed or touched up in any way. They are straight
from the camera and into the archive. FirstView is about life not
art, it's a snapshot of the first day of the month, forever..."
About the web site;
firstview.org.uk is
a small site. It was created to provide a central repository
for the FirstView archive. Apart from a couple of pages introducing
the project there is a members gallery.
About our services;
 The
InterZone designed and built the Firstview.org.uk site and maintains
it. The off-the-shelf FirstView
Gallery was implemented, and is administered by TheInterZone.
We continue to maintain the site and perform regular back-ups
for the client.
